Residential Energy Rebates
It pays to have a greener home. When you upgrade, repair or replace your energy-related home appliances, you can lower your overall costs and up your savings.
Small Projects
(less than $1,200 to update)
Duct Replacement/Repair
Properly seal your ducts and stop unnecessary heat or cooling leaks.
OUC Rebate: up to $100
Estimated Savings: Up to $60 annually1
Window Film or Solar Screen
Install window film or solar screens with a Shading Coefficient (SC) of 0.5 or less, made to reflect heat.
OUC Rebate: $0.55/sqft
Estimated Savings: Up to $40 annually1

Solar Thermal Water Heater
Get a water heating system powered by the sun.
OUC Rebate: up to $900
Estimated Savings: Up to $280 annually
Heat Pump A/C
Install a 15.2 SEER2 or higher heat pump A/C system.
OUC Rebate: up to $1,150 based on size/SEER2 value

Ceiling Insulation
Add ceiling insulation in places like your attic.

High-Efficiency Toilet Replacement
Replace your old toilet (manufactured before 1994) with a WaterSense-certified high-efficiency toilet.

Install a device that tracks your real-time water use and alerts you if a leak is detected. Some models offer the capability to remotely shut off your water.

Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ & Irrigation
Reduce potable irrigation water usage through the installation of low-volume irrigation systems and Florida-Friendly plants.
OUC Rebate: up to $200
Smart Irrigation Controller
Install a standalone WaterSense labeled irrigation controller, which acts like a thermostat for your sprinkler system, telling it when to turn on or off. It can use local weather and landscape conditions to tailor watering schedules on the site.
