And for some upgrades you make, there’s a rebate available for you to cash in. From water to power to electric cars, OUC’s rebate program doesn’t just open the door to a cleaner, greener home—it pays you for items that will also save you money in the long run.
Rebates are paid as a credit on your OUC bill. So, don’t just go green, get green.
How to Redeem a Rebate
Step 1:
Choose Your Upgrade
Decide which upgrade you’d like to complete, then review the eligibility and requirements to apply for the rebate.
Step 2:
Apply For a Rebate
Install your measure and then apply through our online portal within six (6) months of your purchase date.
Step 3:
Get Cash Back on Upgrades
Once the rebate is approved, a credit will be applied directly to your utility bill.
Energy Rebates
A/C – Heat Pump
Save when you install a 15.2 SEER2 or higher heat pump A/C system.
- OUC Rebate: Up to $1,150 based on size/SEER2 value
- Estimated Savings: Up to $615 annually when upgrading from a 10 to 16 SEER 1
Smart Thermostat
Control your home’s temperature from any smart device.
- OUC Rebate: Up to $50
- Estimated Savings: Up to 10% per year
Heat Pump Water Heater
Cut your water heating costs with an efficient heat pump model.
- OUC Rebate: up to $500
- Estimated Savings: Up to $550 annually 2
Window Replacement
Minimize your heating, cooling and lighting costs.
- OUC Rebate: $1.50/sqft for the installed windows
- Estimated Savings: Up to $250-300 annually3
Window Film or Solar Screen
Install window film or solar screens with a Shading Coefficient (SC) of 0.5 or less, made to reflect heat.
- OUC Rebate: $0.55/sqft
- Estimated Savings: Up to $40 annually
Duct Replacement / Repair
Properly seal your ducts and stop unnecessary heat or cooling leaks.
- OUC Rebate: Up to $100
- Estimated Savings: Up to $60 annually4
Ceiling Insulation
Add ceiling insulation in places like your attic.
- OUC Rebate: $0.10/sq ft for the installed insulation
- Estimated Savings: Up to $500 annually 5
Solar Thermal Water Heater
Get a water heating system powered by the sun.
- OUC Rebate: Up to $900
- Estimated Savings: Up to $280 annually

Smart Water Monitoring Device
Track your real-time water use and get alerts if a leak is detected.

Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ & Irrigation
Reduce potable irrigation water usage.
- OUC Rebate: 100% of the cost, up to $200
Smart Irrigation Controller
A WaterSense-labeled irrigation controller can tell you when to turn your sprinkler system on or off.
- OUC Rebate: up to $200
Water Cistern
Store and reuse rainwater to reduce storm water runoff and reduce your irrigation water bill.
- OUC Rebate: $0.02 per gallon, up to $200
Home Updates Made Easy and More Affordable with Efficiency Delivered®
OUC’s Efficiency Delivered® provides homeowners with up to $2,500 in energy and water efficiency upgrades. If you qualify, you may spread payments over an interest-free period of up to 24 months on your utility bill.
