How Does it Help?
According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), replacing just one older urinal could save more than 4,600 gallons of water per year.
Conserves Water
Replacing inefficient fixtures can save between 0.5 and 4.5 gallons per flush, without sacrificing performance.
Promotes Hygiene
Natural enzymes work to prevent harmful bacteria and pathogens while attacking odors at the source.
Lowers Maintenance
Flush valves will not need to be replaced as often and encrustations in pipes will reduce, keeping pipes unclogged.
Before You Get Started
- Find a new urinal that consumes no more than 0.5 gallons per flush (GPF). Use the WaterSense Product Search feature to ensure selected model is considered WaterSense certified.
- Purchase an eligible urinal model to replace an existing urinal that consumes >0.5 gallons per flush (GPF).
- Decide whether to install it yourself or hire a professional.
- Don’t forget to take photos of your old urinal and its date stamp, which will be needed while applying for the rebate.
