OUC Stands with Those Experiencing Financial Disruptions

ORLANDO, Fla. – OUC—The Reliable One understands that many families are experiencing disruptions in income and increased financial stress due to ongoing federal government shutdown.

To help ease the burden, OUC is offering support to those federal workers and contractors through the following:

• Payment arrangements and extensions are available to help customers manage their utility bill.
• OUC’s bill payment assistance fund, Project CARE, is available for customers experiencing temporary financial hardships. Administered by Heart of Florida United Way, Project CARE is supported by contributions from OUC employees and customers.
• Flexible prepaid billing program, OUC Power Pass, allows customers to pay-as-you-go for utility services with no deposits or reconnection fees.
