Metered Service Costs

All costs are subject to adjustment by OUC Water Engineering upon review of plans submitted by customer. All costs include OUC System Development Charge (SDC)* where applicable.

Standard Metered Service Costs

Customer/Developer installs connection, service line, curb stop (OUC inspects and installs meter, meter box)

  • A System Development Charge (SDC) is designed to recover a portion of the investment required for water system facilities growth and is included in the costs above where applicable. This charge is based on the associated customer capacity requirements which are measured in Equivalent Residential Connections (ERC's).

  • The standard costs listed above are the minimum costs. Additional costs may apply due to permit fees and/or additional construction costs. OUC reserves the right to use a cost other than the standards listed above for unusual circumstances.
