ATTENTION: All OUC offices, including our Customer Service Centers, are closed Monday, May 27th in observance of Memorial Day. We’ll return to normal business hours on Tuesday, May 28th. Disconnects for non-payment will be suspended during this time for both traditional and OUC Power Pass customers. You can still make payments, report outages and use other self-service features by logging into your myOUC online profile or by using our 24-hour outage reporting line at 407-423-9018 in Orlando and Orange County or 407-957-7373 in St. Cloud and Osceola County.

Alerts User Guide

Real-time Account Balance
Current balance information is now available for all OUC customers. If your mobile device is registered for text alerts in the OUC alerts program, you can send BAL to 69682 (myOUC).

You will receive the current balance on your account and last payment information. You do not have to be enrolled in either the OUC outage or billing alerts program, but your mobile device must be associated with your account.

OUC Power Pass Customers
OUC Power Pass customers are eligible to register for Outage Alerts.  Because the OUC Power Pass program sends balance notifications, Billing Alerts through OUC Alerts are not available to OUC Power Pass customers.  OUC Power Pass customers may text BAL to 69682 (myOUC) once registered to get a current account balance. 

SMS Commands

You can use the following commands to communicate with OUC via text message. Please note: Your phone must be registered for Alerts before you are able to utilize the commands. Just text REG to 69682 (myOUC) to get started. Standard messaging rates apply. Be sure to read the Terms and Conditions before registering.

HELP Receive a listing of all supported keywords
SUB Subscribe to additional alert programs
REG Register your cell phone to a OUC account You will need your ZIP code and phone number associated with account.
OUT Report an electrical or water outage
STAT Check the status of a reported outage
BAL Receive current account billing balance & last payment information
PAUSE Pause messages for a specific account
RESUME Resume text messages after using the pause command
STOP Unsubscribe from individual alerts
STOP ALL Unsubscribe from all alerts
