ORLANDO - For the second consecutive year, OUC’s Wellbeing: The Power to Thrive program has earned a Best Wellness Employer Gold Certification from Wellness Workdays, in collaboration with experts from Harvard Medical School. OUC received the honor after completing a comprehensive survey of the Wellbeing program, which earned high rankings in each of the four categories—assessment, strategy, implementation and evaluation.
OUC’s dedicated Wellness team has worked extensively to develop a best-in-class program, offering opportunities such as health and wellness fairs, onsite health screenings, onsite workout classes, health coaching and partnerships with the Advent Health New Day, New Weight weight loss program and the YMCA Diabetes Prevention program.
“The award honors the Wellness team’s efforts, day-in and day-out, to motivate our employees toward active, healthy lifestyles,” said Brandy Graham, Employee Relations Specialist. “We are proud to be recognized for our continued commitment to fostering wellness Commission-wide.”
