Dear Valued Customer:
At OUC, we realize the important role we play in providing essential services to Central Florida, and we understand that these services are essential no matter what obstacles face our community.
As the true impacts of coronavirus (COVID-19) become more real each day, I want you to know that we at OUC stand ready to do all we can to ensure our services remain uninterrupted. Our team has spent the last several weeks assessing and preparing for the virus to ensure we’re taking all necessary preventative measures.
Our priority is the health, well-being and safety of our valued customers, employees and community. As the situation around coronavirus continues to evolve, we are taking advice from public health officials and implementing extra precautions to minimize risks.
On March 4, all nonessential business travel was limited, and employees recently vacationing internationally, or who have family members who have traveled internationally, are required to self-quarantine at home for 14 days. We have asked our vendors and suppliers, who must be onsite for critical operations, to adhere to the same measures. Additionally, onsite meetings have been replaced with teleconferencing and videoconferencing. We will continue to support a wide range of community causes and events but will minimize our in-person attendance.
Customer service operations will continue as normal at this time, but rest assured that as we make decisions moving forward, we will always keep protecting our customers, employees and community top of mind.
Let’s stand together, as a community, to persevere, as we always do.
