The OUC Storm Watch
When compared to tornadoes, earthquakes and other natural disasters, hurricanes are one of the easiest to foresee and avoid...with the proper preparation. Throughout the year, organizations like the National Weather Service and the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service work to track, predict and lessen the human impact of these amazing storms. Should a storm threaten Central Florida, these organizations offer extensive information on storm tracking, the probability of a hit and what to do should a storm make land-fall. Below are regularly-updated images and information on current storm conditions, courtesy of NOAA/National Weather Service. |
