We appreciate your interest in OUC’s Community Solar program. Effective September 13, 2022, new and increased subscriptions are currently paused for re-evaluation of the program. In the meantime, OUC will blend unsubscribed solar generation capacity from our OUCommunity Solar program into the overall fuel generation rate to help offset the rising costs of traditional fuels. As a community utility, it’s imperative that OUC makes decisions for the benefit of all our customers. Rest assured OUC is constantly evaluating its solar programs and remains committed to investments in solar and energy storage in order to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
