OUC in the news   Press/media contacts   Publication library   Knowledge Center   More about OUC		Finding an Electrical Contractor   A message for OUC customers with down service lines, damaged weatherheads and damaged meter bases: The customer is responsible for devices which include the weatherhead for overhead services (see image), the buried conduit for underground services, and the meter base in both instances. OUC is only responsible for repairing the service line and electric meter.   In order to expedite service restoration, the customer will need a licensed electrician to make the necessary repairs to their electrical equipment. Customers are responsible for any services and cost performed by the selected contractor. OUC is working with the following electrical contractors who can assist in this process: If you are located in the City of Orlando or Orange County call Westbrook Service at 407.841.3310 or Quinco Services at 407.857.6133.   If located in St. Cloud or Osceola County, call Terry's Electric at 407.572.2100. After repairs have been made, the electrical contractor will contact a local governmental agency and arrange for a prompt inspection of their work. Once the inspection clearance has been received by OUC, we will then take action to reconnect power. In the mean time, OUC will work diligently to restore power; however, we cannot determine when your power will be restored.
