NAMED SOUTHEAST'S MOST
RELIABLE ELECTRIC UTILITY
Award From PA Consulting Group Highlights Importance of
Electric Reliability
PA Consulting Group, a
leading management, systems and technology consulting firm, has named
OUC—The Reliable One the most reliable electric utility in the
southeastern United States. Regional winners were selected based on
power-restoration performance and other reliability data.

OUC
received PA Consulting's ReliabilityOne™ award in a ceremony held
Nov. 15, in Miami. In addition to the best reliability, OUC also provides
customers with some of the lowest rates in Florida.
The
award highlights the importance of reliability in the energy sector and
recognizes companies best prepared to keep the lights on in times of
unplanned crises. PA Consulting recognizes utilities that have delivered the
very best reliability in the industry and taken extra steps to ensure that
their reliability reporting processes are accurate.

Established in 1923 by a special act of the Florida Legislature, OUC—The
Reliable One is the second largest municipal utility in Florida. OUC
provides electric and water services to more than 196,000 customers in
Orlando, St. Cloud and parts of unincorporated Orange and Osceola counties.
