FPRA Honors OUC for Water Report, Web Site
ORLANDO – Orlando public relations professionals again have recognized OUC—The Reliable One for the outstanding quality and effectiveness of its communications tools.
OUC came away with two Awards of Distinction from the annual Image Awards competition conducted by the Orlando Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association. OUC received awards for its 2003 Water Quality Report and revamped corporate Web site.
“These awards underscore the hard work we put into communicating effectively with our customers, the media and the greater Central Florida community,” said Roseann Harrington, OUC’s Vice President of Marketing, Communications & Community Relations. “It’s nice to have our peers in the public relations field recognize our efforts.”
The local FPRA chapter presented the awards to OUC during a ceremony on April 22, 2004.
OUC’s Winning Entries
- The utility’s 2003 Water Quality Report, titled “Delivering Safe, Reliable Water,” served a dual purpose. Not only did the report provide customers with important information about the safety of their drinking water, it also offered conservation tips and explained how OUC is protecting water resources for the future.
