Quest Gets Financial Boost From OUC

ORLANDO – OUC—The Reliable One's annual charity golf tournament raised $25,000 for Quest Inc., an organization that provides much-needed services to the developmentally disabled.

More than 140 OUC business partners and employees participated in the golf tournament, held Saturday, September 26, 2003 at the Stoneybrook East Golf Club.

"Quest fulfills an incredibly important role in our community," said Bob Haven, OUC's general manager and CEO. "We are proud to support their mission."

Quest provides training and support services that enable individuals with disabilities to become productive workers. More than 400 Quest clients are working for companies including OUC, Walt Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, AAA and the Orange County Public Schools.

OUC—The Reliable One lives up to its name by providing the best record of electric reliability in the state of Florida and delivering high-quality, great-tasting drinking water to its customers. Established in 1923 and owned by the citizens of Orlando, OUC is the second-largest municipal utility in Florida. OUC serves more than 190,000 customers in Orlando, St. Cloud and parts of unincorporated Orange and Osceola counties.
