OUC Aims For Brighter, Safer Streets When street lights brighten your neighborhood, opportunities for crime grow dimmer. That’s why OUC has joined Orlando Police Chief Jerry Demings to aggressively maintain Orlando’s street lights, making our community safer for everyone. With the end of Daylight Savings Time on Oct. 28, it will be getting dark earlier. To help protect our neighborhoods and provide better illumination for roadway and pedestrian traffic, we need your help. If you see a street light problem in the City of Orlando, call OUC at 407.737.4222. Citizens can also report a street light outage online. Click here to fill out our online form. Together, we can keep our community a safe — and well-lighted — place to live.
