Free Home Energy Survey

If you are an OUC electric customer, our experts can show you how to save energy and reduce your monthly utility bill with a free Home Energy Survey. A trained energy specialist will give your home a thorough examination, inspecting all areas for energy and water loss. During the inspection, we'll check your:

• Attic insulation and central air-conditioning ducts (single-family homes only)
• A/C system filters
• Window caulking
• Weatherstripping around doors
• Faucets and toilets
• Lawn sprinkler systems

In addition, OUC will give you specific tips on conserving electricity and water and offer details on the following OUC customer rebate programs (single-family homes only):

• OUC will rebate up to $100 to upgrade existing attic insulation R-30
• OUC will rebate up to $75 on your purchase of caulking, weatherstripping, window tinting and/or solar screening (recommended Shading Factor .5 or better)
• OUC will rebate up to $75 on repairs made to leaking ducts
• OUC will rebate up to $300 on your purchase of an energy-efficient heat pump
