Why do OUC crews leave my neighborhood when I still don’t have power?

Crews may leave your area before power is restored for several reasons:

• Before any repairs begin, OUC crews must survey damaged areas to immediately address dangerous situations.
• We may need to repair damage between the source of power and your area.
• We may need to restore power to a critical community facility, such as a hospital, police station or fire station.
• We may need to work on a problem elsewhere that will restore power to the greatest number of customers safely and as quickly as possible.
