The OUC Hiring Process Applications for posted position vacancies are accepted from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Any required testing must be scheduled during those working hours. Applications are screened by the Human Resources Division according to the position's minimum requirements. Applicants must meet minimum requirements to be considered for available positions. Applications of the top qualified applicants are submitted to the hiring department for review and consideration for interviews. The Human Resources Division schedules interviews by telephone during business hours. All applicants interviewed are notified by mail when the position has been filled. OUC reserves the right either to terminate or extend the posting period on any job at any time should qualified candidates not apply. Safety sensitive positions Safety sensitive positions under the State of Florida Drug-Free Workplace Act are subject to post-accident, reasonable suspicion, random, periodic, and pre-employment alcohol/controlled substance testing.
