Following are a few of the questions we have received in the OUC Development Services office, as well as a flow chart many of the forms and documents that developers may new to access when doing business with OUC.

Q. Does OUC require an approved signed and sealed set of plans?

A. No, OUC does not require the signature and seal. However, if the plans sent to us are not copies of an approved set and/or do not match exactly the approved set, your cost estimate may have to be revised later to meet the requirements on the approved signed and sealed plans. This may cost you additional money and cause delays in getting your services set.

Q. How can I find out whether or not OUC can provide utility service to any given unserviced property?

A. To find out whether or not OUC can provide the service you need, simply complete the Letter of Availability form.
