In an annual contest among Central Florida water suppliers, OUC’s H2OUC was picked “Best Tasting.” The contest, which was held March 22 by Region III of the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA), pitted OUC tap water against utilities from Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia counties. The winning sample was drawn from OUC’s Southwest Water Treatment Plant in the Dr. Phillips area.
“This represents the hard work of our Water Production team,” said Water Vice President Rob Teegarden. “Every year they reliably produce billions of gallons of clean, great-tasting water.”
