Generation Center

Curtis H. Stanton Energy Center (SEC)
The energy center with its iconic cooling towers in east Orange County is the most diverse generation site in Florida featuring natural gas, landfill gas and coal generation, as well as a nearly 6 Megawatt solar farm. With a generation capacity of 1,850 MWs, it is also one of the most reliable and environmentally responsible power stations in the nation. Almost two-thirds of the 3,280-acre site is dedicated to conservation – providing an undeveloped, protected wildlife refuge and habitat for nearly 40 different species of animals.

Water Production

Seven Water Treatment Plants
OUC uses ozone treatment at all of its water treatment plants to produce high quality, great tasting tap water, proudly dubbed H2OUC. To ensure the safety of your water, all of the plants are equipped with state-of-the-art security systems and patrolled by armed security guards and law enforcement officers.
